Not sure what to say?

When I think of Mrs McGuinness I am transported to my childhood and playing in the backyard on Robinhood Lane. I cant help but smile at the memory. I think too of when I saw her as I became an adult and had my own children and the example she set for me as a kind and compassionate person.

I cant believe its been 5 years. Mrs McGuinness and the home on Robinhood Lane are so entrenched in my memory that sometimes I think I can just arrive there and see her around the yard smiling and greeting people. Although I can't do that I can and do remember her and the positive effects she had on my childhood and life.

My childhood was spent in and around the McGuinness house hold. I always called her Mrs McGuinness even well after I became an adult and cant bring myself to address her any other way. There was never a time where she didn't have a smile or a kind word for me or my family. Her type of kindness and compassion are rare today. I think of her as a role model. I will miss her.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss the long talks with Edie when I was driving by and stopped to say hello.
She was always smiling.

We are so very sorry to hear of Edie's passing, we will always remember her as the friendliest face at St. Margaret's Sunday morning Mass. - The Dionne Family

My Aunt Edie will be remembered for her love of life and family. She always made people smile and laugh, even in the hard times. I'll never forget the fun times we had apple picking, her playing Christmas songs, on the organ Christmas Eve, going to Sun Luck and picking me up from school when I was sick. She was a very wonderful person, who, as a child, I referred to as Auntie Mame. We will miss her.

I will so dearly miss Edie's vitality, love of life, faith and gift of gab. She was a dear friend of over 40 years and figured she would live to her 90's. Dear Edie go in peace. Gail Wood.
