Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home - Wethersfield Obituary

Edith A. Navarro, 78, of Hartford, CT, beloved wife of Adan Quintana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Lima, Peru, Edith was the cherished daughter of the late Santiago and Elvia Uribe Navarro. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother whose warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit touched everyone she met.

Edith found joy in traveling, dancing, gardening, and especially swimming in the sea—her love for the beach was a reflection of her vibrant soul.

Edith was a woman of deep compassion and generosity, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her heart was fullest when surrounded by her children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, and friends. She cherished family gatherings, cooking delicious meals, shopping, and exploring new places through travel and cruises. Her laughter, wisdom, and radiant smile brought light to every room she entered.

A passionate dancer and lover of life, Edith embraced each day with grace and gratitude. She never complained, always remained kind and caring, and was known for her strength, hard work, and unwavering love for her family.

Edith is survived by her husband Adan and their children: sons Abel Quintana and partner Susan Pausmer, Enrique Quintana and his wife Valeria Palacios; daughters Mariella Quintana and her partner Bill Gerber, Linda Navarro, and Monica Quintana and her husband Juan Sanchez. grandchildren Andrea Quintana, Ashley Quintana, Maia Rodriguez, Milan Quintana, and Camilla Quintana.

Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT 06109, on Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
