Edith Irene O'Hara

She was a brave beautiful woman whom I loved dearly. Her dedication to theatre was so pure. She gave hundreds of actors their start and gave them a home. I will miss her so much

Sorry to hear about your mom. My mom happened to notice the obit in the Advance. Just recently wondering how she was doing when we passed your old street in New Dorp. Such wonderful memories from OLQP & second grade for us both. She is fondly remembered.

Edith was known to us through Brighton Gardens, where my mother Fay Heady resides. She was always a pleasure to speak with and always had kind words. My teenage sons often spoke to her and she would encourage them to learn more about the world. She will be truely missed when we visit Brighton Gardens and my mother will miss seeing her on a daily basis.
