Survivors include her children, Wanda Matney and her husband, Oliver, James Pace and his wife, Janet, Richard Pace and his wife, Diane, Barbara Shifflett and her husband, Rodney, Michael Pace and his wife, Kathy, all of Scottsville; and Kathy Snoddy and her husband, Sam, of Buckingham; 10 grandchildren; 13great-grandchildren; a brother, George H. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2011, at Thacker Brothers Funeral Home in Scottsville by Pastor Terry Tolliver of St. Andrews Baptist Church in Buckingham. Burial will follow at Scottsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2011, at the funeral home. To All The Pace Family,

I know that it is never easy to say goodbye to a loved one especially someone as loving and caring as your mother. She believed in the Lord and put her trust in him so all of you would not have to worry about her. Just believe in the same and know that she is reuniting with the love of her life.
