June 15, 1906 June 26, 2003 Edith K. Payne, 97, of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Athens, died Thursday. Visitation will be Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home in Athens. Grave side service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Tanner Methodist Cemetery.
