I remember Edith as one of the closest and dearest friends of my mother, Eleanor Davis. Edith had a captivating smile, bubbling enthusiasm, and was quick to encourage talent in others, including myself as a teenager. I will remember her as a mentor and friend.

To Edith's family,
Never have I had a better or dearer friend. Edith was love and creativity personified. She meant so much to me and I will miss her always. Thank you for sharing her with me.

Your Mom was a light in this world. Her knowledge of art give her a wonderful perspective of life and she did teach me some life lessons about sharing and love. I will miss you Aunt Edy. Blessings to all of the family.

Hal, it has been years since you attended Summit School kindergarten but I remember what a lovely supportive parent your Mom was, moreso because we had the same first name. Blessed we have been to have shared her life.

I am sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers.
