Not sure what to say?

To the Simeone Family,

I was sorry we could not express our sympathy in person as we had reservations to leave on Friday for a weekend with friends that have been after us for sometime for the last five years, but due to the fact that we had my mother in law to visit on Sundays we could not go, this time we had no excuse. I was happy to share the experience of being with Edith on Sundays at the Village at Elmhurst, later named Capital Ridge to assit the good Dominican priest with...

To the Mollos, Scettas, and all the branches of the Simeone/D’Amato family:
“Oooooohh Donnieeee!” I remember that greeting and the BIG HUG that went with it every time I saw Edith – right up until the last time I saw her at my mother and dad’s memorial. What a wonderful friend! I could count on the same greeting and hug every time my family and I returned to Raymond Street from TX, from Viet Nam, from OH, from Korea, from GA, from VA, from Europe, from FL, or from CO. It was always the...

On behalf of our Smith Hill community of neighbors and friends I want to extend condolences to the family of Mrs. Simone.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Mrs. Simone for many years beginning as a young kid in the neighborhood. I was a fellow Raymond Street neighbor to Mrs. Simone and later I had the honor of serving as her councilman. Over the stretch these many years Mrs. Simone remained among the most admired and loved. I made at least two visits to the Elmhurst Assisted Living...

We will always cherish the memory of your warm heart, your beautiful smile, your spiritual support, and your love for family. Thanks for the memories dearest Edith; your shining legacy that is reflected in your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren is a monumental honor to you and Marco. Veglia and George

I was so sorry to hear about your family's loss. Your mom/grandmother always made me feel welcome in her home. She was a kind person. May God bring you comfort and healing during this difficult time.

God's Garden

God looked around His garden
And He found an empty place
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your precious face

He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest;
God' s Garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.

We were so sorry to hear about Edith's death. She was such a great lady and lived a good life. She is now in the hands of God. We will miss her and wish her family our deepest condolonsces.

We are deeply saddened by Auntie's passing. We are so sorry we will not be able to attend the funeral, but please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. The first time Auntie Edith came to my home was for Giovanna's baptism. As a house warming present, she brought me a candy dish that she had received for her 25th wedding anniversary. I placed it on a console in the foyer. I will remember her and say a prayer for her every time I pass it.
With deepest sympathy,
George,...
