My love and sympathy to you Bob, and to all of your family. Edie was a gem of a human being and I will never forget her smile and great sense of humor. The "Greek Group" pictured below. These close-knit couples, including Edie and Ritt, chartered a yacht and sailed the Greek islands. This picture ran in the SC Sentinel back in 1977.

I remember Edie giving me some sound advice when I was a kid of 12 or so. Sue and I went for joy ride around the neighborhood on our bicycles without telling Edie where we were going. As you might imagine, cousin Sue was in a heap of trouble when we got back. While Susie took the brunt of the stern lecture from Edie, I in my 12 year old mind, though it might be a good idea to just slip out for another short ride while things cooled down.
