Not sure what to say?

Jean and Lisette, I was not aware that your dad had passed away. I surely would have attended his
services. Charlie and I always enjoyed so much visiting with your dad and mom whenever we did
work in their home. He was such a nice person. My sincere sympathy to the two of you... PHILIP

To every one that left a kind message about my dad; I would like to thank each an everyone of you that took the to write to me and my sister about dad. Your words where very helpful in getting though a time like this. We will miss him and my mother very much but it was very comforting to know what people thought him. He was a very special man but at the same time I am comforted knowing he is at peace. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Jean-Leon Deramee

A great loss to the Lafourche Parish Bar and community. I attended the LSU Summer School for Lawyers in Aix-en-Provence in France in 1988. The classes were in July, and the Fete Nationale (Bastille Day) was midway between the sessions. Almost all the US attendees traveled elsewhere for the holiday. I was going to Lucerne, Switzerland, for the break, but the train from Aix did not run to Marseille on Sunday. Fortunately for me, Mr. and Mrs. Deramee had rented a car and kindly offered me a ride...

Jean and lisette - your father was a mentor for me and a true friend. I loved both your mother and father as second parents and your dad was the consummate attorney and gentleman. His stag dinners were legendary. muscovy duck was his specialty and the wine was superb. He will be sadly missed but his influence on the legal community in thibodaux will always Be remembered. May the angels welcome him into paradise

I am so sorry to hear of your loss of your father. He was always such a kind and gentlemanly individual. Please know that my prayers are with you.

So sorry for your loss Jean. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
