My deepest sympathy to the entire Gonyea family. From the entire Plexus Columbia Office.

My deepest sympathy to the Gonyea family.

I had the unexpected opportunity last November to be at the Vietnam Memorial when Ed read names from the Wall. This was Ed's first time at the Wall. I feel very privileged to have known Ed. He was an outstanding individual, a true officer and a gentleman. I will miss him. My prayers go with his family. Ed was truly blessed.

Ed will be missed. Thanks to Ed, he had given me the motivation to move on to the technical career and to gain a secret clearance, just when I thought that it wouldn't be possible. Interesting enough he put my secret clearance through 2 years ago and just when I caught word that it had cleared, I thought to myself Ed would be happy; he said that I would need a clearance to move forward in the fast lane and boy was he right. I still can hear that "loud" laugh of Ed's!! Ed may you rest in peace...

Ed enriched my life over the past decade as an Army colleague & friend. I'll always remember his devotion to family & country, eternal optimism, intelligence, and warrior spirit.

I served with and learned a great deal from Ed in BRACO from 94-96. Ed's a quality man! Dignified but tenacious and a bit crazy, but that was Ed. A true warrior and friend will be missed. The family is in my prayers and although I cannot make his funeral... on that day I'll be there in spirit and remember a true patriot.
