Ed was such an amazing, loving man. He touched so many lives. I was truly blessed to know him. Our men's group won't be the same without him. Blessings. Don Dawson

Tweety and I played rugby together at USC back when. He was a true force in the scrum, and equally fun at the after parties. Always smiling off the field, Tweety was just a pleasure to be around. We reconnected by phone via a mutual friend, and talked of getting together at his Sullivan´s Island home. We tried a few times, but schedule conflicts and all... then came Covid and all that went to the back burner. I sorely regret not pushing harder to make it happen, but am grateful that he was in...

What a wonderful friend and person. You will truly be missed. Patty and Jon Rushlow

In loving memory of a wonderful person. l will love you and miss you always.

Ed joined our Tuesday morning men's group at Seacoast many years ago. He was a faithful attender even through the pandemic when we moved our meetings to Zoom. Ed's comments were reasoned and thoughtful. After the pandemic, Ed continued to join the group via Zoom. His face loomed over the our meeting room and he spoke with his deep voice from the large TV on the wall. He is a brother in Christ and now home meeting and praising Jesus.

I came to know and love Tweety from our time living in the same residence halls at USC in the mid to late 1970's. Tweety was part of our close knit gang who stay in touch every week. I miss him dearly and my thoughts and prayers are with Becky and the family. Our gang got together in Columbia in the fall of 2012 for a USC football game. The night before we gathered with spouses for dinner. We later shared our thoughts with one another after the weekend. This is an email Tweety sent...

Loved getting to know Ed on our Togo trip. So very sorry!

My life's path crossed with Tweety's path in many ways. The Carolina Band, common friends at USC like Chuck "Tin Man" Burgin, and later after school through Jaycees in Clover for Ed and Anderson for me. His soul and spirit will live on through our memories of him. God speed, Tweety Lee King
