It was with sadness that I belatedly heard of Edmond's passing. I only knew him professionally, but he was 'top shelf'. His legacy with respect to Louisiana conservation will live on.

Great guy! Always enjoyed working with Ed and Noel for the Fur & Alligator Council Meeting Luncheons! He was always so very appreciative of the work I did for him at the luncheons in B.R. He will be sadly missed by all in the Coastal & Nongame Resources Division at LDWF.....I will keep his family in my prayers this Lenten Season...

I'm so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. His reach went far beyond the Bayous of Louisiana. I sought his expertise and guidance numerous times when working to eradicate nutria from the Chesapeake Bay. A true gentleman and a professional. My sincere condolences to family and friends.

I'm very sorry to hear of Ed's passing. I was fortunate to have known Ed through the Southeast Furbearer Working Group. He was a joy to be around, always seemed happy, and was a great host when we our group visited the Rockefeller Center in 2004. I was hoping to see Ed when I visited Louisiana again in May. Ed was a special person and we'll miss him. My condolences to his family, friends, and coworkers.

He was a student always, ready to learn more but a consummate expert in his own right and humble to the core, earning...

My condolences. I previously worked for NMFS/NOAA and served on one of the committees that oversaw and funded coastal restoration efforts. I fondly remember Ed's early efforts at making gumbo with nutria to help encourage harvest efforts. Was always cheerful and outgoing... The gumbo was always pretty darn good!!!
