Not sure what to say?

I remember Ed always having a big smile on his face as he would greet you. He was always warm and welcoming to everyone he met. He was kind to everyone and was willing to listen to what people wanted to talk about. He was eager to lend a hand to those who needed any help and always offered advice, if it was requested. He was an outstanding Military officer and was a perfect example for all those he served with. Ed was a great Boy Scout leader for the Boy Scout Troop at Ramstein, Germany. I...

It is with great sadness to hear of the tragic loss of Ed, Eva Lou, and Mitri Saad. They were a wonderful family and it was a joy to have known them while we were stationed at Ramstein together. I attended his retirement and he was so looking forward to moving back to Texas and resuming civilian life there. With Mitri, I was one of two parent-scout leaders that took him to a week long Day Camp in the back hills of Germany. He was very polite, kind, and always a great help. He and my son Aaron...

My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of the Saad Family. I, too was stationed with Lt Col Saad at Malmstrom AFB and remember him as a central part of the Farsider family. He and his family will be missed.

Blessed Family

It was with great sadness that I learn yesterday from fellow Aggie Dare Westmorland of the very tragic death of Ed and his family. I remember Ed from our time at A&M and he was always a very kind and gentle man. To the family I send my sympathy and prayers.

Yesterday at a small gathering of former missileers from Ellsworth AFB I learned of the tragic deaths of Ed and his family. To a man, we all expressed our admiration of Ed and the numerous contributions he made to our Nation's security. He was a dear friend and comrade-in-arms and touched all who knew him. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with those left behind.

We only had the pleasure of knowing Ed, Eva Lou and Mitri for a short two years as their next door neighbors here in Livingston. No one could ask for a more enjoyable family to be their neighbor. They will be missed.

It was sad and shocking to hear about Edmond and his family. What a tragic loss for all. He will remain a wonderful part of my high school memories. My heartfelt prayers and warm thoughts are with his family and friends.

Knowing Tres since St. George's as a young child I shall always remember our fun times in school and in church. My warmest, heartfelt prayers goes out to you all.
