Dear Kate,
I am very sorry to hear about the death of your dad. I know how much you adored him. I suppose this is another one of those life passages, both for him and you, that we all must pass through. I'm praying that you and your family are engulfed in the great, unfathomable love of God and that you will experience him in every crack and crevice of your pain. I love you Kate. My prayers are the same for you, Ed.

Ed, Tom and Kate,
I remember your dad as a lively, joking, kind soul. I have many wonderful memories of him, and will forever hear his laugh in my mind, and keep him in my heart and prayers.

I just got the news about your father. You are all in my thoughts. I know it's been a long time, 20 years, but I thought of your father often. He was a kind and generous man and it was a great pleasure to have know him. I spoke to him about 2 years ago and he told me that he was sick. I hope all of you are well and doing great.
