Hello, We wanted to let your family and friends know that we are sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and hometown of Edmund W. McDonald US Army Sergeant. We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community,...

To the family of Sgt. McDonald. I served with him in the 82nd. No words can ever be enough to express how you must feel. I have recently reunited with the members of bravo company. I would like to share with you and let you know that he is deeply loved and missed. Our memories of him are fond. There is a maintenance facility named in his honor in afghanistan. May god be with u.

You were a great friend and an awesome soldier. I knew it the first time I saw you. I remember when u got promoted I was busting your chops and made you smoke the whole platoon. They hated me for it. What about that time that you threw the knife at the ground and caught Adams foot. We covered it up before big viv caught us. No words can...
