Not sure what to say?

To Melinda Meadows,

I just happened to come across your Dad's obituary on line and want you to know I am so sorry for your loss. I remember you speaking of him throughout our four years at Maria Assumpta Academy. I hope you are well. Would love to hear from you!

From the one you loaned a pencil to on the first day of school.

As a student at leominster and later as an OR nurse back in the early 70's, I was in awe of his surgical skills and great sense of humor. a great loss to all.

These are my adult children visiting in June 2011 for my 66th Bday: David, Lisa & Jeff.

Lois you were a young girl at the time I worked for your Dad. I remember He was absolutely crazy about you.At the time I worked for him I was called MARY Jane #2.I am happy you responded, I have many fond memories of him,Leominster Hospital and how much he taught me, a very smart man he was. If it weren,t for him I would have never have had the great the great years in my profession as an infusion nurse, he taught me all he knew about sticking people,(as he called it.)Best wishes to you and...

Wow! Good to hear from you, Marie Jean.

I worked for him after I graduated from Leominster Hospital in 1960, but did not start working for him until 1964, he was a great boss very giving and very kind, also a great sense of humor. I got married ing 1964, and for our wedding he gave me a great rocking chair which is still in the family. there are so many wonderful things he did for me , he helped me buy a new car, he bought me a pair of skies for xmas, one year so I...

i met dr meadows in the early 1990's when i opened my
dental practice in bennington. our conversation started when he asked me where in west virginia are you from. although i grew up in the northern panhandle and attended wvu he would bring up elkins . often we talked of rural heath care as my father also was a surgeon and practiced family medicine and surgery. we talked of hunting and his trips to the west with family especially as his mobility declined how he...

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on Ed's passing. My earliest memories were when he came back to Gilman in the summer, and I was staying with Grandpa & Grandma Meadows on the dairy farm. He and Jay talked about girls and stuff that didn't make much sense to me, until about 10 years later. But the most enjoyable time was when we made our yearly trip to CA to hunt deer and wild boar. I would rent a SUV and pick them up at SFO, and we would go up together to Bucks ranch. I have so many...
