Edmund F. Nadolski, age 83, of Demotte, IN passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015 at St. Anthony Medical Center in Crown Point, IN.


Edmund is survived by 4 daughters: Kathleen (Joe) Rappatta; Margaret (Mike) Tedesco; Dorothy (the late Dan) Femiak; and Elizabeth Nadolski: 2 sons: Edmund (Jennipher) Nadolski and David (Donna) Nadolski; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; cherished friend: Betty DiNatale; and many nieces and nephews; brother-in-law: Pat Doyle; sister-in-law: Patricia Nadolski

Edmund was preceded in death by his wife: Kathleen; parents: John & Frances; brother: Raymond; and 2 sisters: Veronica & Virginia.

Edmund was a bricklayer at Inland Steel for 38 years and member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local #6. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, and was decorated with a National Defense Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal. Edmund was a longtime member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Merrillville. He enjoyed star gazing and had a great fascination with astronomy. Edmund was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and wonderful friend.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Geisen Funeral & Cremation Services, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN 46410 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday morning directly at the church from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at St. Joan of Arc, 200 E 78th Ave, Merrillville, IN 46410 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Jon Plavcan officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN.

Mr. Nadolski (DAD) is going to be deeply missed. Every sense Dave became part of our family his family became our family!! Dad was such a loving caring man who will be missed by not only me but everyone who knew him.. There isn't enough room to say all the words about what a great man he was..
