I remember working with Ed as a Ranger and for a few years before he retired as his lieutenant. He worked at a time when the job was different than it became later and he was good at it.

We met Ed and Janet out dancing at Clubs in CNY. Ed was a very nice man. We always enjoyed visiting with he and Janet between dances. They were good dancers and a wonderful couple. We truly are sorry to hear of Ed´s passing. Patti and Tom

Ed was a fellow State Forest Ranger with me and while our ranger districts were on opposite ends of the the 9 county area that comprised DEC Region 7, we often got together at the DEC office in Cortland, NY. Ed was an outstanding Ranger and fun to work with. He was meticulouse and thorough in everything he did. In retirement Ed and Janet and my wife Leann and I developed an even closer relationship whether visiting us at our camp on Otisco Lake or sharing a glass of wine at Anyela´s Winery...
