Not sure what to say?

Thank you, Dad, for always standing behind us, loving us and giving us your best.
"Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;"
from "Crossing the Bar" by Alfred Tennyson
(Dad's favorite)

I served on the USS TURNER (main control) 1961/1962 under Commander Stronski, He was a great leader and fine gentlemen. I know he has been missed greatly. We need more like him.

I, too, wish to join all of my classmates and friends who have contributed such wonderful memories of a man who meant so much to us at such an important time in our lives. Both my brother Stephen ('80) and I learned much from this great man.

Norman Pearce (KHS '76), Grand Rapids, MI

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

My condolences to the Stronski Family.

To the Family of Commander Stronski, My husband and I were students in KHS's NJROTC program in the 1970's. I was also a classmate of Jim's. We send our prayers and our heartfelt condolences to you. We have a deep love for your father and gratitude for the many ways he taught, led and guided us. He will always be in our hearts.

I was a classmate of Claire's and one of the many NJROTC student's CDR Stronski influenced and guided. His counsel during my senior year as part of the senior staff of the unit were foundational to my military and post-military career. My prayer's and condolences to the family.
