Not sure what to say?

A wonderful man that shall never be forgotten and I will always remember his kindness to my family.

RIP Fr. Sviokla, better know to my family as, Fr. Svi. You were always a solid rock in our family...from my grandparents to my children. Your presence has been felt over many generations, and will continue. You will always be remembered as a great person. God Bless

A wonderful man. Rest in Peace.

To the family of Father Sviokla,
I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to you. I knew Father from St. Thomas' parish in Jamaica Plain. Few people achieved the position of respect and high esteem which he enjoyed in the community.
I'm sure his absence will be felt by many for years to come.
With deepest sympathy,

Jim Walker

Fr. Sviokla RIP. You brought great joy to St. Thomas Aquinas Band In JamaicaPlain. You told us when the band started that in a few years we will win the class A band divison in the CYO MUSIC CIRCUIT.Sure enough your words came true.IN 1968 at Dillboy Field in Somerville.Fr. you gave us great pride and joy to have some one who cares about people. Not only all the great music & marching instructors CYO units could only envy.Fr. you done your duty for all of Gods work you professed to do. Now...

"Fr. Ed" (and Fr. Joe Crehan) made me feel so comfortable with the Church when I moved to Everett. I had a good, long talk with Fr. Ed once and will never forget it. He was loving and kind and accepted me as I was, which was very healing for me. I remember he liked to play golf, and I'm sure he is up there getting a hole in one every time. He was the best! : )

Thank you for your kindness to my mother ...

I remember him from the late 50's early 60's at St. Thomas' in Jamaica Plain.

You came to St Anthonys in 1952.
You made our teen years wonderful. You ran our CYO the drill team, and cared for us all. St Anthonys blue Diamonds had many winning year with you in charge. Thanks for the memories....CAP.
