Ed was a great mentor and friend in my early years at Hilltop Advertising. Over the years we crossed paths and always shared our memories of working together. It is with a heavy heart that I write to you about your father and grandfather Ed. He was a great friend and co-worker at Hilltop, and taught me many valuable lessons - most importantly to have a quick wit and a sense of humor to get you through the invariable stresses of the advertising business. Dear Mike and family. I was saddened to read in the Enq. this morning that your dear Dad, and my dear friend had been called home! Yesterday I made his favorite cookie, I think-- He always acted as though they were-- and was going to deliver them after an appointment this forenoon!
