Not sure what to say?

To Jamar and Carolyn, my best and dearest friend and god parent to my children, there is nothing I can say to express the emptyness in my heart at this time. "Uncle Eddie Ray" as fondly called by the kids will be missed, but his humor, wittiness and memory will forever live in our hearts.

We love you dearly and will always be here for you and Jamar, may God bless, keep and restore you. Remember that there is no sorrow on earth that Heaven can not heal, keep trusting, leaning...

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children...to leave the world a better place...to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Congratulations Mr. Washington you are a huge success!

My thoughts will always be with you and your family.

Aunt Carolyn & Jamar,

We are still praying for all of us. It was really hard on us, not being able to make it to say farewell to our Uncle Edmund and to be there for our Dad and the rest of the family. However, there is no questioning that we were there in spirit. As you know, we love you two very much. As prayers continue to go up...blessings will continue to rain down. during our time of sorrow. Again, we love you!!!

Carolyn,

Edmund will be truly missed. However, I can smile thinking of the jokes we've shared over the years. The two of you, as a couple, are beautiful and very inspiring. May God's peace be with you and the entire Washington family. We Love you!!

Carolyn:

Please accept my condolence in the loss of your husband, Eddie. Please try to remember that in the quite moments, when the hurt seems so hard to bear, you have the love that you shared for each other over the years as your shelter and the beauty of your life together that is filled with precious memories, as your everlasting comfort. Please know that I will hold you and your family in gentle thought and prayer during this very difficult time.

Carolyn:

Odis and I would like for you and your family to know that we are thinking about you and will keep you in our prayers. It always saddens us when a member of the Delta family passes away. Even though both Edmond and Odis had retired, the memories shared over the 20+ years of working together will never be forgotten.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the family during your hours of bereavement. I will forever cherish the memories of Edmund and his warm smile.

Prayerfully,
Rose Evans
