Edna Helms Aldridge, 67, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Hospice of Union County. She was born in Union County, NC on August 14, 1943 daughter of the late Carl and Ivah Thomas Helms. Edna was a retired Senior Buyer for Teledyne Allvac.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery, Peachland, NC.
Edna is survived by her son, Brian Aldridge, daughter, Angie Mangum and husband Mike, a grandson, Christian all of Monroe, brothers, Larry Helms and wife Barbara and Clyde Helms, all of Marshville.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
