Edna Pauline Bender

Edna Bender was my high school teacher in my business classes. She was a great person and influenced my life in many ways. I will never forget her.

Edna was a dear friend to my mother and father--Betty and Wade Campbell. She taught my mother to play Rumikub and was so patient with her. After my mother's death my father continued for some time to be part of the "group" with Edna and Katie. I just adored Edna, and am glad that I saw her just a week or so before she took a turn for the worse. My father spoke to me about her the day before he passed. She was such a good friend to him. My condolences to you all.

Knowing Edna was special. I so enjoyed sharing in delightful conversation with her and appreciate her friendship. She will be missed. My condolences to you, Nancy and Terry, in the loss of your Mother.

Edna was one of the most fascinating people that I have ever known. She was so very special to so many. She loved to play at the card table at Bronson Way with my Aunt Katie. I found out she had a liking of apple fritters. Every time I see one I will remember my and Aunt Katie's special friend "Edna". She will be missed so very much.
