Not sure what to say?

I only knew my Aunt Edna as a youngster, when we visited in Daughin, ,Man. with Mom & Dad (David & Annie Braun). As l remember her, she had one great smile that always shone & made us kids all comfortable around her. May she rest in Peace with her brothers & sisters eternally.

As a child I was only vaguely aware of my Aunt Edna. We lived a fair distance away....60 miles...which was a long way when your parents didn't have a vehicle. But I do remember her coming to stay with us kids in Roblin when her sister Agnes, my mother, was in Winnipeg undergoing surgery for T.B. It was during this time that Edna would hitch-hike from Dauphin to Roblin to look after us. Auntie Edna was a very nice and caring person, She was always a great person to visit with and talk to. She will be in our hearts forever. Our hearts and prayers go out to the family.

I always remember Aunty Edna being a strong woman who loved to laugh. We were separated by 3 provinces and on her last visit to BC several years ago, she left her cane behind. I still have it. I spoke with her a few times over the last few months. She always talked about her family and she was so proud of them. Aunty Edna, you will be missed. Condolences to all of her family. We are thinking of you during this sad time. Take care

We have known Edna for 54 years, ever since Joe chose her as the love of his life. Even though separated by geography, we talked regularly. She always delighted in telling stories about her children and grandchildren, her busy lunch social life, and, yes, commiserating about the weather. As a strong spirit, she overcame obstacles and savoured her family's accomplishments. Our hearts go out to Reg, Sharon, Steven, Danny, Jarod and their families.

We are so sorry that we can't be...
