I'm learning so much about you because of your grandson's book and his love of you. You seem like you were such a wonderful grandmother in person and it is an honor to read about your history. I think it would be very proud of your grandson Jon.

Mike Carmichael called to let us know about Edna. We are in Florida until Monday. I cannot express to you how much Gerald and I loved both Willie and Edna. They were two wonderful people. We went to see Edna in King a few weeks ago. She didn't know me but she knew Gerald. She seemed happy and content. The last thing she said to us as we were leaving was to bring Willie with us the next time we came. She certainly did love him. While I know how much she loved her boys and they loved her, it...
