Read MoreI am so very sorry for your loss. I knew your mom my whole life as Shirley was my first friend. We were neighbors. Her house was the first place I ever got to spend the night at. I was young and scared but she calmed me down. Breakfast was the best I can remember, pancakes and a big glass of milk (I hated milk) but hers was so good. It was then that I learned the difference between store bought and fresh. My family loved her.

To the family of Edna, I send you all my sincere sympathy. I met Edna in August of 1980 at Alta Vista Elementary and saw her last in April of 2025. Edna was a true friend and a joy to be around. She had that special gift of always making you feel like part of her family. Rest in peace my dear friend. Your memory will and friendship will be missed and cherished. Roger
