Edna was born on January 26, 1924 and passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017. Edna was a resident of North Carolina. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Murfreesboro United Methodist Church, 301 E High St, Murfreesboro, NC 27855 She will buried with her husband, Richard, who was interred with honors in Arlington National Cemetery, on a date yet to be determined. Memorials may be made to Murfreesboro United Methodist Church, PO Box 392, Murfreesboro, NC 27855 or the Murfreesboro Historic Association, PO Box 3, Murfreesboro, NC 27855 Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington is assisting the family.
