I can't help but think about Maxine when she worked security at TYS. I flew in and out a lot back then working in my company's Long Island office so I could take care of my mom. I would come back for a few days every couple of weeks to check on the house and Polly. Every time Maxine saw me at the airport she would give me a hug and then stop everyone to introduce me as her son's old college roommate.
