Not sure what to say?

My heart fell when I last seen Edna at the care center. I felt helpless at the moment. But deep down I knew that it would be my last time I would see her. I always loved serving Edna during her meals, and we would always share kind words to each other. I will always remember Edna. I miss her dearly, such a lovely lady, she always made my day. I pray that Edna's family may find total peace. I love Edna for the sake of Allah.

I am the youngest daughter of Abe and Muriel (Kamerick) Goemaat and I was born when we lived across the road from your grandparents, Dick and Marie. I have such fond memories of them. I knew you lived in Oelwein by then and I remember times when you came to visit. I know my mother kept in contact with Edna - they were only a year apart in age, so they had many memories. Mom is in a nursing home in Knoxville and I will let her know of Edna's passing. Our sympathy to you and your families.

Marilyn, I so enjoyed seeing and talking with Edna every time I played at Grandview. What a wonderful lady. She will be greatly missed. You and your family are in my prayers. Dave Poggenklass

EDNA WAS A SWEET GAL, I USED TO GO WITH THEM TO DIFFERENT PLACES, AND SHE ALWAYS ENJOYED HERSELF, AND WE ENJOYED HER. SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. WALLACE AND BARBARA RUNDLE

A single candle for a single life that touched so many. Her smile could lighten any load. I first met her when she worked at the doctor's office. Our sympathies go out to Edna's family.

Always enjoyed waiting on Edna when I was in the teller line at Oelwein First National Bank. She was a very nice lady. My sympathy to the family.
