Not sure what to say?

Wow! For some reason, this popped up in my email feed, and I felt a responsibility to say something. There will never be another generation like these two freedom fighters. Edna and John Moseley were true leaders and fighters of justice for all African Americans. I will truly miss their presence and spirits. Praying that time continues to heal the family! Rest-In-Peace Edna & John! Charlotte Hilton Head Island, SC

My Blessings extends to the family and friend's of this wonderful, courageous, commitmented and loving leader. You have earned your Walk of Fame! Forever R.I.P...

Dear Mr. Mosley & Family,

I was so saddened to learn The Honorable Edna Mosley had transitioned to thé next realm. Mrs. Mosley was such a wonderful woman with a gracious spirit. I met her through my late godmother, Maude Williams. I remember attending Thanksgiving dinner at her home one year, and boy it turned out to be the best time. We all had to give one reason why we were thankful before dinner. Dinner was an elegant formal affair, just like the woman herself.

Dear John,
Edna was a wonderful woman who we feel blessed to have known. Amanda and I are deeply sadden by the news of her passing. Please know that you and your family are in our prayers.

Through her life, her family and her untiring work on behalf of this community, Mrs. Edna Mosley has left a remarkable legacy for those of us who remain. I pray peace and comfort for Col. John Mosley and all of his kin in the midst of this challenging time. The Mosleys (and their great friend Dr. Gwen Thomas) were among the first to welcome my parents to Denver when they moved here in 1981. I cherish my memories of both Col and Mrs. Mosley as great pillars of our city. Lots of love,...

John and the family you are in my prayers.

Yesterday, I heard of Edna's death. I was Edna's secretary when she was the Affirmative Action Director at DU. What a classy lady! Edna did everything first class it was a blessing and my pleasure working for and with her. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, director, civic service, etc. She was always a very positive person looking for the good in all (what a peacemaker). Also a great cook. I love Edna's yeast...

Dear John and family
I was so sad to hear of Edna's passing. I was so hoping I could be present to speak for her home going ceremony but I will be in Kanas. I hope you will share some of my heartfelt memories.
I know it will be quite a celebration!
She was a shero for me and so many women and men not only in Denver and Aurora but around the world. I realized how fortunate we all were to have her touch our lives and oh how she did in so many ways! We go back to the United Negro...

Dear John- my late father Bus Bergman was honored to have played football with you at Colorado A & M where my Mother Elinor knew you as well. She and our family send our sincere condolences in the loss of your wife. Sincerely, Jane Bergman Norton
