Still miss her all the time

Edna lived next door to us at Storypoint. We loved visiting with her in the dining room. She was precious to me.

I am sorry for your loss. She will be missed, she always greeted me with a smile and "Is that Nellie Belle?", as she knew I shared my grandma Powell's middle name. A fierce, strong, woman. Blunt in speech, kind in heart.

After God made Edna, he threw the mold away. She was an original, the one and only. We have fond memories of leaving "Algoma flats" and walking up Norton hill with our Grandma Holden taking some freshly baked cookies to share with Edna and her family when we were kids. She never forgot us, we received phone calls from her often ... "Carole, tell me what I just read in the paper isn't true" or "I was just thinking about your Dad, back when we were kids.." Edna was a true friend of mine. I am blessed to have know her.

Dear Norman Family: I am sorry for your lost and you have my deepest condolences. Mrs. Norman was my favorite customer on my mail route. She and I could talk about any subject. She would always tell me to sit "A Spell" after her telling me to wash my hands and having a glass of water. I visited Edna at Story Point and had a long conversation with her a few weeks ago.
