Not sure what to say?

We love and miss our dear friend, Edna. We can still feel her warm and positive presence. Rest in Peace dear Edna. God's Peace. Elizabeth and David Claytor.

I am indeed pleased for this opportunity to refresh my memory of Edna; may she Rest In Everlasting peace !

One of the pleasantest person I knew on HU campus! May she rest in perfect Peace.

Wow...I'm sorry this is rather late but I did not know cousin Edna passed until I saw the Brown Reunion address list. I feel sad that Cuzzin Edna is gone. I last talked her about my neice attending N.C. A&T in 2010. She was such so loving person....a wonderful spirit full of life! I have many memories of fun times with her and the Johnson Family and although time has passed I know her family and friends miss her.
May God comfort Elaine, Everene and all the Johnsons and her...

I have had Edna on my mind for some time now meaning to call to follow-up on her health challenges. Now, it is too late for the physical communication but it is not too late for me to say goodbye in the spirit. I will miss hearing her voice and seeing her warm reassuring smile. Although the relationship with the brother did not last, we remained...

I was unexpectantly hit with sorrow when I learned of her passing. However, I was so glad that I was able to share a great relationship with her as she was my academic advisor and mentor. She impacted many young students and she certainly inspired me. Although she is not here physically, she will always be with me in my heart (I can see her smiling and cheering me on when I graduate from law school next year). Love you Dr.Ragins!

Sincere sympathy to the family. Beverly Johnson Neal, HI, Class of 1968

I was so shocked to hear of Edna's untimely passing. We met at Hampton and kept in touch while she was still in Baltimore. Her infectious smile and warm personality will be missed.

Cheryl Wright Owens, Hampton Class of '71

Edna was a classmate of mine at HU and we graduated together in 1972. Our paths have crossed a number of times since then most recently at a regional Hampton conference in Maryland where she was the featured speaker. I am so sorry to learn of her early passing but know that God has called another angel home. The family is in my prayers at this time. Keep the faith and you will meet her again.
