Not sure what to say?

She was an ever cheerful face meeting me and Doris on my way home from school (yes, I'd stop there first sometimes)and a loyal X-Mas correspondent for my parents and I despite the many many years accumulating after our last time together. A totally remarkable woman/wife/mother who in turn raised a remarkable family. My deepest condolences to the entire family.

Edna was a lovely friend and neighbor for so many years. When we look over to their cottage here in Mt. Vernon, it is hard to imagine that David and Edna will not be back, but then we realize they will always be with us in so many wonderful memories. Our hearts go out to the family but they are strong and will lean on each other in this difficult time. And each summer, we will share our wonderful memories of all those years, and likely smile and laugh a great deal at all the joy and good...

Aunt Eddie always had a twinkle in her eyes. Just a loving,
Happy, and all around good person. Much love to all who mourn her.

Dear Ripley Family, I remember Eddie well. I taught school with her at Saylesville Elementary. She was a very dedicated and caring teacher! Couple funny stories... I remember her husband David made her a fancy salad every day for her lunch. Her salads would be cleverly arranged and quite picturesque. (I think Dave was retired that year.) Several teachers would gather around to see Eddie's salads each day. I wasn't surprised at all to see that they were married 61 years. What a special...

Dear Ripley Family. It was my pleasure to know Edna and David when we were serving two churches on Aquidneck Island at the same time and before. What a lovely, gentle lady she was and how loved and respected she was among other clergy families. Be proud to have been able to call her "your mother".May the many happy memories you shared sustain you though your loss.

Edna is= still is - a great person. Mostly I knew her from knowing my friend David Ripley. We were both UMC pastors. I knew them in RI, CT., the cottage in Maine- and when Percy Smith, Dave and I were at Geneva Point Camp every Fall. Time flies and I miss them. My condolences to the family.
(The Rev.) Robert Firby retired and living in Florida.

We offer our love and condolences and pray that God wrap the entire family in His loving, comforting arms and give you peace.

Offering our deepest condolences at this difficult time.
