Edna Stechebar, longtime resident of Clinton Township, died peacefully Monday morning surrounded by the love of her family. She was 92years of age.
Edna was born in Detroit on September 12, 1912, a daughter of the late Walter and Josephine Nasierowski. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Bruno, in Detroit on June 2, 1934. Their union was blessed with three beautiful children. The couple resided in Detroit until making their home in Clinton Township in 1969. Edna was an excellent cook, an avid reader, and enjoyed embroidering. Above all, she devoted her life to her family. Edna was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by the many she has touched in her lifetime.
Edna is survived by her loving children, Claire (Ronald) Marlow, Richard B., and Cynthia Stahl; dearest grandchildren, Douglas (Tina) Marlow, Dawn (Kenneth) Schop, David Marlow, Kirk and Jan Stahl; cherished great grandchildren, Grace, Hope, Connor, and Jonathan; and beloved sister Virginia Faremouth. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bruno, her grandson William Stahl, and siblings Arthur and Irene.
Visitation will be held at Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd., Fraser, Wednesday from 5pm until 9pm.
