Edna O. Tipton

It was a pleasure to know Edna first at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, which she and Bob helped to build and grow. Her outgoing personality welcomed new members, and her quick wit made it a joy to know her.

What a loving couple Edna and Jim were when they married. Holding hands as they walked into Briarcrest, almost every Sunday after church, Jim's devotion to Edna shone clearly and Edna's abiding love for Jim beamed in her smile. They had the admiration and respect of many...

Edna was a dear friend and former associate for over 50 years. We will miss her laugh, her gentle spirit,and her kind heart. She was the best pastry chef we have ever known. We often talk about her great cookies, candies , pies and cakes, especially during the holidays and on Don's birthday.

Jim was such a blessing when he came into her life, and they were truly happy together. He was such a sweet and kind man and a true gentleman. We were blessed to have known both of them.
