Not sure what to say?

My sweet friend on Sherman Street, at Central Baptist, in high school, and at Montevallo. We called her "Ese Jack". What a sweet, intelligent, caring and committed follower of Christ ! She showed special kindness to our daughter when she came from overseas to Samford University. In later years, she and I did an in-depth Bible Study together. Her prayer was for a purer heart..and now she has it! I look forward to wonderful conversations with my friend someday.
Blessings,
Glenn...

How sorry I am to hear of Edna's death. She and I taught foreign languages together at Mountain Brook until I left Birmingham in 1981. She was a wonderful teacher and friend. She is remembered fondly.

Ese was a good friend at Alabama College. She was a wonderful lady and great leader. She will be missed by all who knew her.

To Edna's family--

I knew Edna via the UMC--specifically with her involvement in the Walk to Emmaus and The Academy for Spiritual Formation. She was a dear friend and we all rejoyed when she and Claude "found" each other.

I will remember the visits to her home in Mountain Brook and the various events we shared at Camp Sumatanga.

She was such a 'real' person--testified to by the funeral for a daughter.

Edna believe and lived into a world beyond this physical...

Ese was a dear friend at DHS and at Alabama College . I loved her friendship, her enthusiam, her tap dancing, her character!
God bless.

I am so sorry to hear about Senora Cardwell. She was my Spanish teacher at MBHS and was always one of my favorite teachers. It has been years since I've seen her, but fond memories of her will always be with me. My thoughts are with your family.

"Who will separate us from the love of Christ? . . . For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:35, 38--39.

We have been richly blessed by Ese's life of Christian love and faithfulness and look forward to being reunited with her in the world to come!

We are all saddened to hear of the passing of Edna Louise, our aunt and friend. She was a great woman and led a full and fulfilling life. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of her family.
