Read MoreI always admired Mr. Dunford from my first day at work. Very easy to talk to and very very kind. Inspired me too grow within the company in space and defense. At Space Park, I would frequently run into him on the way to the cafeteria. He would always say hi. I was thinking about him today and cruise the Internet said to see that he left us so early in life. Best wishes to his family.

Edsel Dunford was a neighbor of mine on 234th Place in Torrance and we both came from North Dakota. He was always easy to talk to and he was liked in the neighborhood. Later, I contacted him about possible employment at TRW and he was most helpful and kind. Actually, I retired from Hughes and went to work at Citicorp. I always liked him.
My sympathy to his family in his early passing.
