Not sure what to say?

Gifts from my Dad,
Dad taught us all many things, but for me there were some special lessions I treasure. Although Dad loved to talk about his many interests, when I needed him to listen to me he did. Because he listened, I knew my thoughts on things and what I had to say was worthwhile. Dad believed in each of us and because of that we learned to believe in ourselves. Dad also taught us that if we have courage and are willing to work at things that we can do anything... I believe that...

Grandpa,
I will always remember Christmas at your house, and fighting with the cousins as to who could sit with Papa in his chair. You are so admired and respected by your family, and you will be missed tremendously. Anything you set your mind to you accomplished ,and you are a tremendous inspiration to your family. I am honored that I am your granddaughter, and I will miss you.

June and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Ed, was a very talented man who excelled in many areas. I'll always appreciate the effort he put into providing me with additional information regarding my Civil War relatives!

Poppa,
You were an inspiring, passionate, charismatic man whom I respect tremendously. I'm so proud to be your granddaughter and will remember you always.

June & Family--Ed meant so much to me (and my family). He hired me in 1972 and was my district supervisor until he retired. I will forever be greatful for the opportunity he gave me to "have a life". Thanks Ed, June & family! Sincerely, Russ Harrah

Ed, you were my Supervisor for many years since 1972 till your retirement, and I learned alot from you. You will be missed by many people

Ed did things right. This quality was especially evident in his study of history and his subsequent discussions and writings on many different subjects. May God bless Ed and his family for his wonderful contributions to our community and to the historical record.

Requiescat in Pace;

Grandpa,

In your lifetime you did what would take most normal people five to six life times. It was a pleasure to know and learn from you and I know that everyone else that knew you feels the same way. I'll never forget the many letters that we exchanged and still have them all to this day, thanks for everything.

Justin

Mr. Strobridge will be long remembered as one of San Luis Obispo’s finest historians.
