Although I was not able to spend quality time with my Dad in my youth, I was happy to be able to bring one of my daughters to meet him in adulthood. Sometimes life doesn´t turn out as we planned however I am fortunate to have had a wonderful and supportive family. Condolences to Marilyn and thank you for keeping me updated for years. Marilyn and FAMILY-I just heard about Ed's passing yesterday from Ken M'Farland. He was a very congenial and generous person. His support of the Royal Elks Soccer Club was extrodinary! R.I.P. Ed.

The world was better for having had you in it, Eddie! We loved chatting with you, seeing you at the soccer pitches, hearing of your adventures.... You and Marilyn were perfect neighbours when we lived across the street from you! You always seemed to be smiling, and we can´t help but smile when we think of you!!!

Many great times with Fast Eddie over the years..soccer trips with Vic United and to watch Whitecaps. Ed always hosted a great birthday party complete with live band. You are home now .. til we meet again my friend

I first met Ed in the late 60s when he worked for Hugo Hucker and loved his roof in his van. We continued our friendship through the Cosmo Elks and then Vic West May you RIP FAST EDDIE. Lew Willams
