Not sure what to say?

I met Ed at U of A where we both started out as Spanish majors. He was one or two years ahead of me, but we shared some of the same classes. He graduated and became a Spanish teacher at Pueblo High School and in 1969 I did my practice teaching at Pueblo under his supervision, teaching one of his classes. He gave me his advice and full confidence and allowed me to introduce my own teaching style. He also allowed me the privilege of subbing for him once at the tennis courts (although I had no...

May you rest in peace, Coach Nunez. You were not only a terrific tennis coach, but most importantly a very positive influence in the life of young man trying to find his way.

My condolences to all the family. Ed was truly a special person and a good man that I was blessed to have known in my life. He was my coach, teacher and mentor throughout my Pueblo years. Most of all, he was my special friend.

A good man, A wise man, an excellent educator who guided his students and young teachers to be the best.

Thoughts and love go out to Edward's family and sister Janie. We lost a very kind, giving and gracious person.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Ed was my neighbor and friend since childhood. Still remember him giving me and other friends a ride to Pueblo High back in the day. A few months ago he surprised me with a call regarding - what else- his beloved Pueblo High. So sad that it was to be the last time we talked. Heartfelt condolences go out to his sister, Janie, and all who loved him.
