Obituary

EDWARD V. ROWENHORST, 32, of Lake Ridge, Va., loved to take his 7-year-old daughter, Ashley, to his Pentagon office. He'd find an empty cubicle and give the girl some crayons, said his wife, Traci. Once, the two had a picnic lunch at the Washington Monument. "Ashley just loved going in," Traci Rowenhorst said. "Everyone in the office enjoyed kids. They were just a big family there."

Not sure what to say?

I was drawn here after spotting a photo on Facebook that was at the world trade centre memorial. I had just been thinking about my neighbour Rowan as I scrolled though and the name droid out more as my 12 year old is named Owen Edward. I´ve read through the tributes and I am thinking of your family today and wishing you hope and peace for now and for your future x

Edward you are never forgotten. Today your life is remembered and your service honored. May the Lord bless your family and friends with peace and comfort and may you rest in peace.

Rest in peace....

To the family of Edward V. Rowenhorst:
Edward gave the ultimate sacrifice and will be held in the hearts of Americans forever. I cannot and will not let our heroes of September 11 be forgotten. My deepest sympathy to you.

When I was a little girl, our families knew each other. My mom babysat for Daniel and I want you to know I was at Eddie's memorial service and even though it's 8 years later, I still think about you guys and pray for you. Currently my husband is deployed with the US marines trying to make this a safer place for all of us. I will always keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. God bless! RIP

Eddie was one of my 5th grade students in Dale City, Virginia. As I recall, he was a good student, and carried himself with a lot of class. I remember him fondly, and wish the best for his family.

In memory....

As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

I'd like to thank everyone for praying for my family during this time. My uncle, Eddie was a great guy. And I can't wait until we see him again in Heaven! We love you Eddie. :)
