Edward Anaszewicz passed away in San Diego, California. The obituary was featured in San Diego Union-Tribune on June 24, 2012.
I first met AtoZ in 1954, in 3rd Tank Bn, So Cp Fuji, Japan. He was one of my turret mechanics. He was an excellent Marine and a good friend. I saw him often in Oceanside, even bought a freezer from him when he worked at Fedco. Saw him often at the commissary. He will be missed and I know he is in God's hands and will be at peace.

I met Ed, or more commonly known as Mr A to Z, when he was maintenance officer at First Anti-Tank battalion, at the Horno area of Camp Pendleton.
That was 1963, in 1977 we met again at St Margaret Parish in Oceanside, CA.
He was always a happy man.
God bless him and speed him on his eternal journey.
