Edward Lee Anderson, Jr., 69, a resident of Blounts Creek, died Friday June 27, 2025.


A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington, with John Anderson officiating.


Edward was born on July 18, 1955, in Beaufort County to the late Edward Lee Anderson, Sr. and Irene Moore Anderson. He was a graduate of Chocowinity High School and served in the armed forces. Edward was a logger and carpenter. He loved fishing, riding his motorcycle and loved music. He was a very sociable person. He was preceded in death by two sons, Keith and Cory Anderson.


Survivors include his wife, Terrie Godwin Anderson of the home, son, Kelly Anderson of Blounts Creek, stepdaughter, Lana Foreman of Blounts Creek, brother, John Anderson, Sr. of Washington, sisters, Debra Whitley (Clarence) of Washington and Jeanette Wells (Tim) of Ernul, grandchildren, Aaron Lee Anderson and Chloe Nicole Foreman.
