We will miss our dear friend Edward. Birthright of Charleston would never have existed without his help. He was the first to volunteer no matter the request. Kent and I, along with our children, can never express fully how much Edward and Gerda meant in our lives. You are all a terrific family. God bless you all. We are sorry we could not have been at the funeral.

My dear cousin, always active, interesting and a wonderful person, a talented artist, so very special. I have great memories of him in our childhood. He was always the one planning something fun, yet very hardworking. Will miss him greatly.

Edward was my godfather. He used to call me Lucy secundo, after my mother, I remember times at the white elephant. I remember times with him and Greta. What a wonderful man and what a wonderful life. He was an integral part of my family for many years. I honor and respect his legacy.
