Dr. Edward Hart Bair

Growing up in Harrisburg some of my fondest memories were my frequent visits to Dr. Bair's home on Second Street. His son Lucky and I were close friends for many years. Dr. Bair was one of a kind. His door was always open to all. Today's television program depicting a Doctor House is like Dr. Bair in many ways. He was a head of his time and I for one will always remember him fondly. My condolences to the entire Bair family.

Doc,

I will sure miss you my friend and brother. The memories will forever be stored in my heart and the lessons you taught all of us will carry on forever. Eventually we will meet again, smoke a friendly pipe and drink a loyal ale (or better yet - a Virginia Gentleman).
