Love that sunset story. So very Edward. For which we were all the richer. Thanks for sharing, Deb.

My favorite Edward memory . . . at the ALHFAM fall board meeting in Kansas City in 2016 Edward insisted that we all delay our dinner reservation and head up to his room so we could watch the sunset together. I thought then, and still do, that he was a man who had his priorities straight and was living with purpose and gratitude. It was a joy to work with him on ALHFAM business and I will miss his presence.

Ed's legacy and the memories that he gave each of us will keep his spirit of history and community alive... in our communities too. May we all be Ed.

I called him the New England Cowboy. I am grateful that he and I could spend quality time together as roommates during the ALHFAM conference in Baton Rouge in 2016. He was just beginning the experimental treatment for his cancer and I was struck by his incredible bravery and optimistic outlook in the face of such...

Edward was always a gentleman. I never heard him speak ill of anyone. He was patient and kind to all he met and went out of us way to make others feel welcome.

Many wonderful years of knowing Edward as a colleague through ALHFAM. Was remembering today the workshop that we co-taught in Newfoundland (in the last century). What a wonderful adventure and welcoming Canadian colleagues!
Many, ALHFAM meetings, regional meetings, board meetings, sec/treasurer communications. What a joy to know such a talented, solid and supportive co-worker. (I also envisioned Edward and Blake kicking back and having a beer and a chat in their new cosmic neighborhood,)...
