Ed was a fellow '71 graduating class friend, who I must give credit to for his help in getting my first "real" job (after a paper route). He worked at Ralph's Food Center on 5th St. in Coralville in the meat department, cleaning up the equipment and restocking supplies after the day's work was complete. He needed someone to substitute for him while he took some vacation time off, so I stepped in and was later kept on there, stocking shelves and doing carry-out for the shoppers. One of our...
