I bought a house in the 90's and Ed was nice enough to come up a few different weekends to do electrical projects. One trip he left a box full of plates, switches, junction boxes and outlets. He wrote on the outside "save for next time". I still have that box and think of him every time I see it. Just last week I needed a wall plate from the "save for next time" box.
