Edward Emmett Barry Jr.

I was a student of Dr. Barry in the late 70's. I still remember sitting in his classes and enjoying his lectures. Later, in life, I would see Dr. Barry walk through my neigborhood on his brisk walks. I did not realize his battle with his illness until I met his daughter Marijane. I still have a book from his class and I plan to keep it in my library to remember Professor Barry.

I first met Ed Barry when I went to Patzcaruo, Michocan, Mexico from MSU during the winter of 1973. Having taken a class from him the previous Fall at MSU also. I enjoyed conversations with Ed when our paths crossed, even up until a couple of years ago when he must have moved to Billings according to his obituary.
